SOUTHSEA, PORTSMOUTH, UNITED KINGDOM
I am a qualified and highly experienced teacher of English and I find teaching English at home very fulfilling. I love introducing my students to English culture and showing them the sights and attractions of England. I really enjoy meeting new people and am fortunate enough to have travelled extensively. Before becoming an English language teacher, I had a career in business, working in the corporate finance and property sectors, in Spain and the UK.
I live in a large, Victorian house situated on a quiet road in Southsea. Southsea is a suburb of the city of Portsmouth and is located on the south coast of England. My house is a five minute walk to the beach and a twenty minute walk into the centre of Southsea where there are shops, pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities.
There is a big shopping centre about 10 minutes away with a large number of big stores, and Portsmouth city centre is also just 10 minutes by car. There is a bus stop very near my house so older students can explore the local area on their own in their free time, if they wish.
I am married to Antony, who owns a chain of sandwich shops and we have two young children who both attend primary school.
