Rod, is a highly qualified teacher with a degree and a masters in linguistics, CELTA and IELTS training. In addition, having worked in finance for more than 20 years, he has qualifications in business studies, mortgages & loans and financial planning, as a result, business English is a speciality but all lessons are fun and personalised to each students needs.
In their spare time, students are free to explore all the sights and shops of London or spend time chatting to Rod and his wife Merle.

All dietary requirements can be catered for as cooking is one of Rod’s hobbies. Among his other interests are music, socialising and reading.

Students have a double bed and free WiFi. Beckenham is a safe, quiet location in south-east London with a range of pubs and restaurants and is probably most famous as the place where David Bowie first performed.

In addition to Gatwick airport, Eurostar at London St. Pancras International train station has easy access to Rod’s house
