We have been hosting students for EHL since 2013. We believe that hosting exchange students allows us to make international diplomacy a personal affair. Many negative things are said about South Africa in particular and Africa in general, and we work very hard at showing visitors all the love and beauty and contrasts that make our country so special. Through our efforts to embrace our visitors’ culture and sharing our own, we have gained a broader understanding of ourselves. Our family has made friends with families from all over the globe, and we love the experience. We live outside of the university town of Stellenbosch, in the heart of the Winelands District. We are close to Cape Town and all its amenities, but also perfectly positioned to explore inland.
